Scope: This part specifies the ground test requirements for structural qualification and verification of UAVs, and the principles to be followed in order to meet these requirements. This section applies to unmanned aerial vehicles with fixed wings and adjustable fixed wings; it also applies to unmanned aerial vehicles that have been developed, improved, modified or repurposed. This section does not apply to micro UAVs and UCAVs.
