Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of nitrate and nitrite by cadmium reduction and photometric analysis. This standard applies to the determination of nitrate and nitrite in milk powder. The detection limits of this method are: nitrate 1.5mg/kg; nitrite 0.2mg/kg.
