- Scope
- This standard specifies the general technical conditions for the appearance, interaction, material, hardness, surface roughness, scale, coincidence degree, parallelism, indication error, inspection method, marking and packaging of vernier calipers. This standard applies to vernier calipers with vernier readings of 0.02mm, 0.05mm, 0.10mm and a maximum measuring length of 1000mm (hereinafter referred to as "caliper"). Note: The formulation of industry and enterprise standards for similar products should also be adopted as a reference.
