- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, forms and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection conditions, inspection methods, signs and packaging of vernier depth calipers, depth calipers with tables and digital display depth calipers. This standard applies to vernier depth calipers, depth calipers with tables and digital gauges with division values/resolutions of 0.01mm, 0.02mm, 0.05mm and 0.10mm, and measuring ranges from (0 to 100) mm to (0 to 1000) mm. Display depth caliper (hereinafter referred to as "depth caliper").
