- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, forms and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection conditions, inspection methods, signs and packaging of vernier height calipers, height calipers with dials and digital display height calipers. This standard applies to vernier height calipers, height calipers with table and digital gauges with division values/resolutions of 0.01mm, 0.02mm, 0.05mm and 0.10mm, and measuring ranges from (0 to 150) mm to (0 to 1000) mm. Display height caliper (hereinafter referred to as "height caliper").
