Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements, test guidelines and test methods for electric vehicle power supply equipment (hereinafter referred to as "power supply equipment"). This standard applies to all types of power supply equipment with a rated output voltage of 1000VAC or 1500VDC and below, including power supply equipment in charging mode 2, charging mode 3 and charging mode 4, and power supply equipment not used for public purposes but used under special conditions (such as Explosion-proof type, liquid-cooled type, power supply equipment used on plateaus above 2000 m above sea level, etc.) are also applicable to this standard, and need to be combined with the requirements of relevant standards. Independent electrical accessories and auxiliary materials (such as connecting devices, cables, insulating materials, etc.) of power supply equipment need to be used in combination with this standard according to specific product standards. This standard involves serious damage to equipment caused by electric shock hazard, energy hazard, mechanical hazard, high temperature hazard, fire spread hazard, sound pressure hazard, and loss of control hazard when the power supply equipment conforms to the correct use regulations, but operation errors may occur and serious personal hazards. This standard does not involve the following: --- safety requirements related to transport packaging, improper installation and application; --- electromagnetic compatibility requirements; --- information security requirements; --- damage caused by vandalism and other purposeful acts Safety issues caused by it; —— Other functional and performance requirements not related to safety.
