This standard specifies the guidelines and basic requirements for the design of uranium enrichment plants. This standard is applicable to the design of uranium enrichment plants or testing facilities that use centrifugal methods to enrich natural uranium to a U abundance of less than or equal to 5%. It can also be used as a reference for the design of uranium enrichment production, testing, and uranium product storage facilities with other abundances. .
