Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of silicone rubber compounds for wire and cable. This standard applies to silicone rubber compounded rubber for wire and cable insulation or sheathing, which is made of raw silicone rubber as the base material, adding reinforcing agents and other modification additives, and kneading. The performance specified in this standard refers to the performance of the material after vulcanization.
