This standard specifies the terms, definitions, model preparation methods, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, and use of gasoline engine-powered hand-held rolling lawn aerators (hereinafter referred to as aerators). Instructions, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to hand-held rolling lawn aerators powered by gasoline engines. This standard does not apply to hand-propelled rolling lawn drilling machines, tractor-mounted and towed lawn drilling machines, needle vertical movement lawn drilling machines, and injection lawn drilling machines.
