Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of solar water heater enamel hot water storage tanks (referred to as hot water storage tanks). This standard applies to pressure-bearing enamel-lined water tanks with a water capacity of no more than 600L and used to store hot water for solar water heaters or hot water systems combining solar energy and other energy sources.
