- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, main technical parameters and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of daily-use tubular electric heating elements (hereinafter referred to as "elements"). This standard applies to components installed in daily appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480V and a single tube rated power not exceeding 6000W. This standard does not apply to: ——Components specially used for industrial purposes; ——Components working in a vacuum or an environment where the absolute pressure exceeds 1MPa; ——Components working in a flammable and explosive environment.
