Scope

This standard specifies the types, regulations, requirements and procedures for instrument reliability assessment. This standard is suitable for evaluating the reliability and availability of electronic and electromechanical instruments (hereinafter referred to as products), but it cannot be used to predict the reliability of products. This standard does not apply to the following situations: a) Evaluating the reliability of the product in its ready state; b) Before the interaction between the various components of the product is determined; c) The test environment for test data is significantly different from the actual working environment ; d) Inability to obtain sufficient data required for statistics; e) The data reflects a higher early failure rate of the product; f) The working status of the product being evaluated has changed.
