Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the material, design, manufacture, inspection, marking, cleaning, packaging, and accompanying documents of sanitary filter housings (hereinafter referred to as "housing") for microporous membrane filters. This standard applies to stainless steel microporous membrane filter elements used for sanitary grade filter housing.
