Scope

This part of GB/T 3452 specifies the judgment basis for the appearance quality inspection of O-rings for hydraulic and pneumatic applications (hereinafter referred to as O-rings). The standard dimensions of O-rings are specified in GB/T 3452.1; IS0 16031-1 and IS0 16031-2. This part of GB/T 3452 defines and classifies the surface defects of O-rings, and specifies the maximum allowable limit values for these defects. This part of GB/T 3452 is also applicable to O-rings used in aerospace engineering.
