Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and marking of iron-copper-nickel (constantan) thermocouple wires. This standard applies to the manufacture of industrial iron-copper-nickel (constantan) thermocouple (J-type thermocouple) alloy wire (hereinafter referred to as the wire).
