Scope
This part of GB/T 35205 specifies the general safety requirements for non-rotating off-road forklifts with telescopic booms (hereinafter referred to as "forklifts"). This type of forklift has an articulated or integral frame and is equipped with a telescopic arm lifting device (articulated arm), which is usually equipped with a retrieval device fork and a fork frame. Forks and other integral attachments are considered part of the forklift. In addition to the relevant provisions of this standard, other parts of this standard also apply to these attachments. This standard does not apply to the following: a) industrial telehandlers covered by ISO 3691-2; b) machinery (such as loaders) designed primarily for earthmoving operations, even if their buckets are replaced by forks (see ISO 20474); c) vehicles (mobile cranes) designed to be mainly carried by variable-length lifting suspension members (such as wire ropes, chains), and the load can swing freely in all directions; d) equipped with personnel/working platforms Vehicles, designed to lift personnel to corresponding working positions; e) Vehicles designed mainly for handling containers. The major hazards covered in this section are listed in Appendix A. This standard does not deal with the dangers that may occur in the following situations: - during the manufacturing process; - when handling suspended loads that can swing freely; - when using on roads; - when using in potentially explosive atmospheres; Batteries, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or hybrid power are used as the main power source.
