Scope

This document specifies the design, safety requirements and verification methods of the connecting device between the non-rotary or rotary off-road telescopic forklift (hereinafter referred to as "vehicle") and the integrated personnel work platform (hereinafter referred to as "integrated PWP") . This document does not address design or safety requirements related to the personnel working platform itself. These requirements are contained in national and international standards for mobile elevating work platforms. This document does not apply to non-integrated personnel work platforms, such platforms are not installed to affect their movement or interlock with the vehicle control device.
