Scope

This document specifies the design, safety requirements and verification methods of longitudinal load moment systems that can be used on off-road forklifts (hereinafter referred to as "forklifts"). This document specifies the Longitudinal Load Moment Indicator (hereinafter referred to as "LLMI") and the longitudinal load Torque controller (hereinafter referred to as "LLMC") requirements. This document does not apply to the following forklifts: --- truck-mounted forklifts as defined in ISO20297 1; --- swing telescopic forklifts as defined in ISO10896 2.
