Scope

This guideline is applicable to mineral transformer oil without or with antioxidant additives used in oil-filled electrical equipment such as large transformers and oil switches in operation, and provides guidance for oil quality supervision and maintenance. This guideline is not applicable to various synthetic insulating fluids. The oil quality evaluation of imported oil-filled electrical equipment before it is put into operation can be carried out according to the provisions of the order contract.
