Scope

This standard gives the principles of maintenance and management of transformer oil in operation. This standard is applicable to mineral transformer oil without or with antioxidant additives used in oil-filled electrical equipment such as power transformers, reactors, transformers, and oil-filled bushings during operation. This standard does not apply to various synthetic insulating liquids.
