Scope

This standard specifies the marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of total organic carbon analyzers for pharmaceutical water. This standard applies to total organic carbon analyzers (hereinafter referred to as "analyzers") that detect the organic carbon concentration in purified water, water for injection and sterilized water for injection using conductivity measurement.
