Scope
This part of GB/T 30921 specifies the air jet sieving method and laser diffraction method for the determination of the particle size distribution of industrial purified terephthalic acid (PTA). The air jet sieving method in this part is applicable to the determination of PTA samples with a particle size distribution ranging from 10 μm to 4 000 μm; the laser diffraction method is applicable to the determination of PTA samples with a particle size distribution ranging from 1 μm to 2 000 μm.
