Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and descriptions, principles, test equipment, samples, test requirements and test reports of metal matrix composite tensile test methods. This standard is applicable to the room temperature tensile test of particle reinforced metal matrix composites and short fiber reinforced metal matrix composites.
