Scope
This part of GB/T 25123 applies to permanent magnet synchronous motors (motors or generators) connected to electronic converters for electric traction of rolling stock and road vehicles, including the following four types of motors: a) Traction motors: b) main generators: generators that supply power to traction motors on rolling stock; c) auxiliary motors: drive compressors, fans, auxiliary generators or other generators not involved in GB 755 Motors for auxiliary machinery; d) Auxiliary generators: generators that supply power to auxiliary equipment such as air conditioners, heating, lighting, and storage batteries that are not covered by GB 755. This section provides a basis for determining the performance of the motor through tests and evaluating the adaptability of the motor to a specified duty system and comparing it with other motors. The power supply of the electric motor involved in this part is an electronic converter, and the output of the generator involved is connected with a rectifier or a converter.
