Scope: This standard specifies the method and vibration limits of the factory vibration acceptance test under specified conditions for rotating electrical machines detached from any load and prime mover. This standard applies to DC motors and three-phase AC motors with a shaft center height of 56mm and above, a rated output of 50MW and below, and a rated speed of 120r/min to 15000r/min. This standard does not apply to motors installed at the operating site, three-phase commutator motors, single-phase motors, three-phase motors powered by single-phase, vertical hydro-generators, turbo-generators with a capacity greater than 20MW and magnetic bearings motor or series-wound motor.
