Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of propylene oxide for industrial use. This standard is applicable to industrial propylene oxide produced by oxidation method and chlorohydrin method. Molecular formula: C₃H₆O Relative molecular mass: 58.08 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2011).
