- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of propylene oxide for industrial use. This standard applies to propylene oxide produced from propylene through the chlorohydrin method. This product is mainly used in the production of polyether polyols, propylene glycol, demulsifiers, etc. Molecular formula: C3H6O Relative molecular mass: 58.08 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 1997)
