Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and accompanying documents for plastic Rockwell hardness testers (E, L, M, P, R, S, V scales). This standard applies to the plastic Rockwell hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as the hardness tester) used to measure the Rockwell hardness and α hardness of plastics according to GB/T 3398.2.
