Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of water-based polyurethane coatings. This standard is applicable to applications where water is used as the dispersion medium, polyurethane resin is used as the main film-forming substance, and pigments, fillers (without varnish) and additives are added to the surface of some inorganic non-metallic substrates such as metal, cement mortar, and concrete. Room-temperature self-drying single-, two-component and single-component high-temperature baking water-based polyurethane coatings for decoration and protection. This standard does not apply to water-based polyurethane coatings used on wood, plastic, paper, fabric and leather substrates.
