Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of rock wool products for building fire isolation belts. This standard applies to rock wool strips used for fire isolation in exterior wall insulation systems and rock wool boards used for fire isolation in roof insulation systems.
