Scope: This standard specifies two methods for determining the adhesive strength of vulcanized rubber and steel cords embedded in it: method 1 and method 2. The test results given by these two test methods are not comparable. This standard applies to samples prepared under standard laboratory conditions and is mainly used for the research and development and control of materials and production processes for rubber products reinforced with steel cords.
