- Scope
- This standard specifies two methods for the determination of the bonding strength of steel cords embedded in vulcanized rubber. These methods are suitable for the preparation of test specimens under the specified conditions in the laboratory to determine the development of materials, inspection and production process of steel cord. These methods are also suitable for single wires, such as bead wires. The determination of method A can reduce the dependence of bond strength on the elongation and strength of rubber.
