Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, accompanying documents, transportation, storage and other requirements for aircraft ground power units. This standard applies to AC 400 Hz, 115 V/200 V and DC 28 V aircraft ground power supply units (hereinafter referred to as power supply units) that are driven by internal combustion engines and provide electrical energy to aircraft.
