Scope: This standard specifies the general principles for ultrasonic guided wave testing of structural parts of different materials. This standard is applicable to ultrasonic guided wave detection of all geometrically regular material elements and components such as ropes, rods, rods, tubes, plates, etc. that can generate ultrasonic guided waves, such as magnetostrictive, piezoelectric ceramics, electromagnetic induction and laser.
