Scope
This part of GB 10827 specifies the safety requirements and verification methods for the following self-propelled industrial vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles") as defined in ISO 5053: a) counterbalanced forklift; b) reach forklift (with telescopic mast or fork frame); c) forklifts with legs; d) pallet stackers; e) high-lift platform trucks; f) vehicles with a lifting height of the operating platform not greater than 1 200 mm; g) side h) side stacking forklifts (two sides and three directions); i) pallet trucks; j) two-way and multi-way operation forklifts; k) tractors with a traction force not greater than 20 000N; l) Counter-heavy off-road forklifts; m) other industrial vehicles powered by batteries, diesel, gasoline or liquefied petroleum gas. This part of ISO 3691-3 shall be used in conjunction with vehicles whose operating platform is lifted to a height greater than 1 200 mm and/or vehicles operating with a load lifted above 1 200 mm. This section does not apply to self-propelled telescopic forklifts, unmanned vehicles and vehicles, ISO 3691-2, ISO 3691-4 and ISO 3691-6 apply to these vehicles respectively. This section does not apply to vehicles operating in harsh conditions (such as extreme weather, cold storage applications, hazardous environments), which require special protective measures. This section deals with all major hazards, hazardous states or hazardous events listed in Appendix B, except for the following situations, when the machinery is used under the manufacturer's intended use and misuse under foreseeable conditions. This section does not cover the dangers that may occur in the following situations: -- during the manufacturing process; -- when handling suspended loads that can swing freely; -- when used on roads; -- when operating in potentially explosive atmospheres; -- When used on narrow aisles with a one-sided clearance of less than 500 mm from the shelf; -- when driving a ride-on vehicle that tows a load, due to the use of an unergonomic posture; -- when driving with a rated lifting capacity greater than 10 000 kg
