This part of GB 10827 specifies the safety requirements and verification methods for the following types of pedestrian vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles"), which are equipped with load-handling devices such as forks and platforms during normal industrial use, or in Integral attachments for special applications: -- forklift trucks with legs; -- pallet stackers; -- other industrial vehicles with a lifting capacity not exceeding 1 000 kg, manually or electrically (battery powered); -- Low-lift pallet trucks with a lifting height of not more than 300 mm and a rated load of not more than 2,300 kg; -- manual or electric vehicles with a lifting height of not more than 1,000 mm or a rated load of not more than 1,000 kg (battery power) scissor lift pallet truck. This section also applies to other vehicles that are manually or electrically lifted and can be operated on solid, smooth, level and paved roads. This section deals with all major hazards, hazardous states and hazardous events related to the use of machinery for its intended purpose and misuse under conditions foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4). This section does not include the following additional requirements that may be dangerous: a) climatic conditions; b) operation under harsh conditions (such as freezing, high temperature, corrosion, strong magnetic field and other extreme environmental conditions); c) electromagnetic compatibility (emission/anti- interference); d) handling goods that may cause a dangerous state (such as molten metal, acid/alkali, radioactive materials, especially fragile items); e) handling suspended loads that can swing freely; f) handling on public roads g) direct contact with food; h) operation on slopes or uneven hard roads; i) lifting devices using belts; j) personnel lifting; k) the overturning moment of the vehicle is greater than 40 000 N m ;l) scissor lift vehicles driven by external power (electric, pneumatic); m) tank trucks (general containers); n) vehicles towed by motor vehicles; o) vehicles for special purposes (such as hospital or restaurant trolleys); p) vehicles with hoisting devices; q) mobile lifts.
