This part of GB/T 16422 provides information and general principles for the selection and implementation of the exposure methods detailed in the following parts. It also describes the general performance requirements for plastic laboratory light source exposure equipment for artificial accelerated weathering or artificial acceleration. Reference for radiation equipment manufacturers. NOTE: The term light source in this section refers to a radiation source that emits ultraviolet, visible, infrared, or any combination of these three types of radiation. This section also provides information on the interpretation of artificially accelerated weathering or artificially accelerated radiation exposure test data. For more information on measuring the performance changes of plastics after exposure and the method of expressing the results, see ISO4582.
