Scope
This standard specifies various inspection procedures, classification of defect signals, measurement and recording of defects, inspection reports, etc. for contact pulse reflection ultrasonic inspection of impeller forgings using the direct beam method. This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic testing of various types of impeller forgings in JB/T 1266 and JB/T 7028. Other wheel forgings can be used as a reference.
