Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and warranty period of drum shakeout machines. This standard applies to the drum shakeout machine (or shakeout drum, hereinafter referred to as the shakeout machine) in the sand shakeout equipment of the foundry machinery, including the shakeout cooling drum (or cooling drum) and the vibrating shakeout drum.
