Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods for automotive plastic parts coatings. This standard is applicable to the coating of decorative and/or protective automobile interior plastic parts, exterior plastic parts and plastic parts in the engine compartment. The coating of small plastic parts such as standard fasteners and buckles may be used as a reference.
