This standard specifies the composition, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, storage and other requirements for marine low-expansion foam fire-extinguishing devices (hereinafter referred to as devices) with a foam expansion ratio of not more than 20. This standard applies to the devices selected for fire protection systems on ships and offshore oil platforms.
