Scope

This standard specifies the test conditions, severity levels, test procedures, test interruption processing, and qualification criteria for impact testing of ship equipment, and provides engineering guidelines. This standard is applicable to the impact environmental adaptability and structural integrity testing of ship equipment. Ship equipment should select the following relevant tests based on the impact environment it may encounter: Test 1: Strong impact test; Test 2: Specified pulse waveform impact test.
