Scope

This part of JB/T 11783 specifies the test methods and inspection rules for belts, pulleys and tensioners. This section applies to accessory drive systems of reciprocating internal combustion engines. For belts, pulleys and tensioners used in transmission systems in other industries, this section may also be used with appropriate modifications as long as the manufacturer and the customer agree.
