Scope: This standard specifies the terms, definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of gasoline engine-powered walking brush cutters (hereinafter referred to as brush cutters). This standard applies to walk-behind brush cutters powered by gasoline engines. Brush cutters powered by other internal combustion engines can also be used with reference.
