Scope: This standard specifies the manufacturing process, performance requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyethylene-lined composite oil pipes (hereinafter referred to as composite oil pipes) for the oil and gas industry. Steel oil pipes used to prepare composite oil pipes include new oil pipes and repaired oil pipes. This standard applies to downhole composite tubing for transporting water, hydrocarbon liquids and multi-phase fluids.
