Scope
This standard specifies the technical method for analyzing the chromosomal translocation of peripheral blood lymphocytes by fluorescence in situ hybridization and estimating the biological dose of personnel exposed to external exposure to ionizing radiation. This standard applies to the chromosome painting method of monochromatic fluorescein directly labeled probe. It is suitable for retrospective dose estimation of exposed personnel in accidents with doses ranging from 0.2 Gy to 5 Gy, acute whole-body uniform or near-uniform exposure within 10 years, and can also be used for biological dose estimation of personnel who have received excessive external exposure. This standard does not apply to the dose estimation of chronic occupational exposure personnel, non-uniform exposure, internal exposure, dose greater than 5 Gy or acute exposure occurring for more than 10 years.
