- This standard specifies methods for estimating doses in occupational exposure recipients by analyzing stable chromosomal aberrations. This standard is limited to G-banding method or karyotype. This standard is applicable to dose estimates for people with chronic occupational exposure, and also for dose estimates for people exposed to earlier accidents, but it does not apply to biological dose estimates for people exposed to recent accidents.
