- Scope
- This standard specifies the environmental conditions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, RAMS requirements, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cooling fans for diesel locomotives (hereinafter referred to as "cooling fans"). This standard applies to new cooling fans for diesel locomotives. New cooling fans for internal combustion vehicles may be implemented with reference to this standard.
