This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of γ-aminobutyric acid. This standard applies to G-aminobutyric acid produced from L-glutamic acid (sodium) as raw material through microbial fermentation or biological enzyme conversion, filtration, decolorization, spray drying or crystallization by adding excipients.
