Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods and rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of chrome-plated aluminum cylinder blocks for internal combustion engines. This standard applies to chromium-plated aluminum cylinder blocks of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder bore diameter less than or equal to 80 mm.
